The Postal Museum is a new heritage museum in Clerkenwell, London. It first opened its doors on Friday 28th July 2017 behind the Mount Pleasant sorting office which previously operated as one of the largest in the world.

The main entrance had a big sign on top of the building, so we easily spotted this. However, upon entering, we thought we had Continue Reading!
What is Yauatcha Patisserie and where can you find it?
If you’ve never heard of Yauatcha, it is the Michelin-starred high-end dim sum Chinese restaurant that’s been around for more than a decade. Thye are part of the Hakkasan group that includes more recogised names such as Wagamama and Busaba Eathai. More specifically, Yauatcha Patisserie has only been around for a handful of years and opened its first standalone store in 2015 at Broadgate Circle in the city of London. Continue Reading!
Happy New Year!
Last month, me and #JasperBean spent our first time away from home alone in Cardiff City Centre. We travelled by Great Western Railway from London Paddington and couldn’t have asked for a smoother journey! Especially when the little one fell asleep half an hour into the ride. It was then 1.5 hours of quiet bliss for mummy! Continue Reading!
S and I love loved going to the cinema, when we were dating and before #JasperBean came into our lives, our weekends and evenings would be filled with cinematic experiences. Heck, our first date was at the cinema! Whether this was psycho-thrillers, chick flicks, war documentaries or secret cinema experiences, we never considered this as a treat. Now with a toddler in tow, this has become a rare treat because I never was brave enough to bring an unpredictable bundle of energy to the big screen. Anyone with a toddler that doesn’t keep quiet or sit still will know what I mean. However, we decided to take the bull by its horns and take our toddler to his first cinema experience. I think most parents would agree that the most stressful part of any holiday is the travelling. Before we can stroll into paradise, there is the dreaded travelling part. As much as I want to rest, it is impossible with a toddler who wants to constantly walk everywhere and touch everything. Being stuck in a confined space for 15 minutes is hard enough, let alone a long haul flight. #JasperBean’s attention span is very short, as with any other toddler his age and finding ways to keep him entertained and occupied is hard and stressful. Therefore hand luggage essentials tailored for him is very important. Continue Reading!
This pass holiday, me and S tried our hands on hiking. I mean proper hiking, not just strolling on a paved path or muddy lane with a slight incline. It was intense! In the one plus week we were in Vancouver, we tackled not one but two mountains! Yep, you can sense I’m super proud of ourselves, right?! Continue Reading!
There’s only 3 months left of 2017, so there is still time for you to visit Canada before we tick into 2018. So why not swap your Christmas list for a Canadian bucket list. Here are some reasons why you should start booking your next flights out. Continue Reading!
We are off on our next adventure and I would like to share with you my travel outfit essentials and hopefully it can inspire you on your next trip too. I, like everyone else, want to feel comfortable, yet stylish when travelling. But I’m no Jessica Alba or Rihanna, so I wouldn’t Continue Reading!
“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.” The Portrait of a Lady
I couldn’t agree more with that quote by Henry James. Whenever someone mentions afternoon tea, I get excited and I just can’t resist it. This time, I tried the Art inspired afternoon tea at Rosewood London Hotel which won the Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea 2017. The rich and decadent afternoon tea is Continue Reading!
