I think most parents would agree that the most stressful part of any holiday is the travelling. Before we can stroll into paradise, there is the dreaded travelling part. As much as I want to rest, it is impossible with a toddler who wants to constantly walk everywhere and touch everything. Being stuck in a confined space for 15 minutes is hard enough, let alone a long haul flight. #JasperBean’s attention span is very short, as with any other toddler his age and finding ways to keep him entertained and occupied is hard and stressful. Therefore hand luggage essentials tailored for him is very important. Continue Reading!
This pass holiday, me and S tried our hands on hiking. I mean proper hiking, not just strolling on a paved path or muddy lane with a slight incline. It was intense! In the one plus week we were in Vancouver, we tackled not one but two mountains! Yep, you can sense I’m super proud of ourselves, right?! Continue Reading!

“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.” The Portrait of a Lady
I couldn’t agree more with that quote by Henry James. Whenever someone mentions afternoon tea, I get excited and I just can’t resist it. This time, I tried the Art inspired afternoon tea at Rosewood London Hotel which won the Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea 2017. The rich and decadent afternoon tea is Continue Reading!
It was my birthday over the weekend, and S whisked us to U.K’s tallest building in London, The Shard, for the ultimate indulgence: Afternoon Tea with a toddler 😝. TĪNG, located in the Shangri-La Hotel is situated on the 35th floor offering spectacular views of London. To much of #JasperBean’s delight, Continue Reading!

What does your mind conjure up when you hear those words? Does your heart fill with dread and despair or with laughter and excitement? Well, what would you think/say if I told you I visited Peppa Pig World over the weekend? Yep! A whole place dedicated to the pink piggy “oink” family and her furry friends located at Paultons Park, New Forest, Hampshire. I must be crazy, right? Continue Reading!
\Now that #JasperBean is at the age where he’s able to take in more of the sights and smells around him. We visited Drusillas Park in Sussex and Godstone Farm in the Surrey Hills over the Easter bank holiday. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised at how many animals, activities and rides offered at both locations for our day out. Continue Reading
Today is another one of those sunny Spring mornings in London which are deceivingly sharp and cold. This made me wish I was back in Phuket, Thailand. Travelling with a toddler isn’t easy but can still be enjoyable! This obviously is made easier with great summery weather. We were there 6 weeks ago, so this post is a little late. Nonetheless, it’s still an experience fresh in my mind that I would like to share.
